  • Add pasta to large saucepan of boiling water; cook 10 min. or just until tender.
  • Meanwhile, place cream, walnuts, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the garlic and salt and pepper in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  • Drain pasta; return to pan. Add sauce; mix lightly. Cook on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or just until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.

Special Extra

If you love garlic, feel free to add another clove.


This recipe, even with light cream, is an indulgent recipe so stick to portion size. Round out the meal with a tossed salad and glass of skim milk.

    I don't know how to make "toasted walnuts", so I just used regular chopped ones!... My pasta came in a box that was 375g instead of the 450g the recipe called for. I had a very saucy pasta dish because of it, but it was really TASTY! A very rich dish because of the 5% cream, but a nice change from the usual tomato sauce we generally use for pasta...

    Love it! As a vegetarian I appreciate the walnuts in this dish (they are great source of protein & flavour). I will definately make this again!

    AMAZING...I added fresh basil leaves as a garnish --- better than Eastside Pizza's Version (which has chicklen)
