  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix peanut butter and syrup in medium bowl. Stir in oats; spread onto rimmed baking sheet. Bake 15 min., stirring after 8 min.
  • Combine remaining ingredients; spoon into 8-inch square baking dish. Cover. Bake 30 to 35 min. or until apples are tender.
  • Top with granola.


Prepare using Granny Smith apples.


Instead of baking the apples in the oven, combine the apples, brown sugar and cinnamon in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 5 to 7 min. or until apples are tender, stirring every 2 min.

    This recipe was unfortunate. My first attempt at the granola I'll admit I didn't pay much attention to which resulted in billows of smoke and a smoke alarm wake up call for the rest of the house. My second attempt was carefully timed and the results were equally as terrible. This recipe could work if you cut back the granola cooking time and watched it like a hawk. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Lori ~ Thank you for your rating! It is important to bake the granola on a rimmed baking sheet so that the hot peanut butter/syrup mixture does not run off the baking sheet during cooking. Not only would you lose the flavoring for your delicious granola, but you could have a smoky oven, too! >>>
