  • Mix cheeses and wine until well blended; shape into ball. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour or until slightly firm.
  • Shape wrapped cheese ball into oval shape to resemble a football. Unwrap; roll in paprika and place on serving plate. Decorate with olives for the "eyelets" and red pepper strips for the "laces." Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Serve with your favourite Christie Crackers, apple and pear slices, or grape clusters.

    looks good, but this is an American football. Canadian footballs have a white stripe at each end. Consider using sesame seeds for the stripes. Slivered almonds work for the white laces.
