  • Heat 2 Tbsp. dressing in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook 8 to 10 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally to break sausage into smaller pieces. Stir in shrimp; cook 2 min. or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently.
  • Add tomatoes, remaining dressing, broth and turmeric; stir. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice and peas; cover. Return to boil; simmer 3 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.; fluff with fork.

Special Extra

Customize this dish by adding your favourite fish or seafood, such as scallops, halibut, mussels or clams, along with the shrimp.


Substitute chorizo for the Italian sausage.
