  • Brown meat in large nonstick skillet; drain.
  • Add water and seasoning mix; stir. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 min. Remove from heat.
  • Top with lettuce and tomatoes.


Substitute 1 Tbsp. chili powder and 1 tsp. ground cumin for the taco seasoning mix.

Special Extra

Top with coarsely crushed tortilla chips and sour cream along with the lettuce and tomatoes.

    Make this all the time! I stir the tomatoes and melted cheese in at the end just before serving and serve with lettuce and chips. Super easy to make. I also substitute 1T chili powder and 1t cumin for the purchased taco seasoning mix.
