  • Spray electric waffle iron with cooking spray. Heat iron to medium heat.
  • Combine cheese, onions and cilantro; spoon onto 4 tortillas. Cover with remaining tortillas to make 4 quesadillas.
  • Place 1 quesadilla on waffle iron grid; close lid. Cook 3 to 4 min. or until cheese is melted and quesadilla is lightly browned on both sides. Transfer to cutting board. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
  • Cut each quesadilla in half. Serve topped with salsa and avocados.

Special Extra

For a touch of heat, prepare using Cracker Barrel Shredded Habanero Heat Cheese.

Make Ahead

Tortillas can be filled with cheese, onions and cilantro ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 8 hours. Cook as directed just before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with coleslaw, or a tomato salad dressed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.

How to Keep the Cooked Quesadillas Warm

Cover the first few cooked quesadillas with foil to keep warm until all 4 quesadillas are cooked.
