  • Add boiling water to jelly powders in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 2 cups. Add to jelly; stir until ice is completely melted. Refrigerate 20 min. or until jelly is slightly thickened.
  • Cover bottom of 13x9-inch dish with cake slices, cutting as necessary to form even layer. Add 1 cup each of the strawberries and blueberries to thickened jelly; stir gently. Spoon over cake slices. Refrigerate 4 hours or until jelly is firm.
  • Beat cream cheese spread and sugar in large bowl with whisk until blended; stir in 2-1/2 cups of the Cool Whip. Spread over jelly. Arrange remaining strawberries and blueberries over cream cheese mixture to resemble the squares of a quilt as shown in photo. Spoon remaining Cool Whip into pastry bag; use to pipe Cool Whip around squares.

Substitute

Prepare using Jell-O Berry Blue Jelly Powder.

Variation

If you don't have a pastry bag, you can instead use a resealable plastic bag to pipe the Cool Whip onto dessert. Spoon remaining Cool Whip into resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag; seal bag. Gently squeeze top of bag to pipe Cool Whip onto dessert as directed.
