  • Heat dressing in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add yellow onions; cook 3 min., stirring frequently. Add rice; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in broth.
  • Bring to boil; stir. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 15 min. Add peas, green onion and saffron; stir. Cook 3 to 5 min. or until rice is tender, broth is completely absorbed and peas are heated through. Remove from heat.
  • Let stand, covered. 5 min. Fluff with fork before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with your favourite cooked meat.

Substitute

Substitute 1/8 tsp. ground turmeric for the saffron threads.
