  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, cook sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 min. or until evenly browned on both sides, turning after 3 min. Transfer to cutting board; cut into slices. Set aside.
  • Add onions, mushrooms and garlic to skillet; cook 4 min., stirring frequently. Add pasta sauce, olives and sausage; mix well. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain pasta. Add to pasta sauce mixture; mix lightly.

Special Extra

Cut 1 red pepper into thin strips; cook with the onions, mushrooms and garlic. Also if serving adults, add 6 Tbsp. dry white wine to cooked vegetables; simmer 3 min., stirring occasionally. Add pasta sauce, olives and sliced sausage; continue as directed.
