  • Blend first 5 ingredients in blender until smooth; pour into shallow dish.
  • Dip bread, 1 at a time, in egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides of each slice.
  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add bread, in batches; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Serve topped with fruit.

Make Ahead

Bread slices can be soaked in egg mixture in refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, cook as directed.

Special Extra

Serve with maple syrup.
