  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Beat egg, milk and margarine in medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in cereal; let stand 3 min or until cereal is softened. Meanwhile, toss cranberries with flour, sugar and baking powder. Add cereal mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  • Spoon evenly into 12 greased muffin cups, filling each cup two-thirds full.
  • Bake 20 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 min. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.

Special Extra

For added colour and flavour, sprinkle batter in cups with cinnamon sugar before baking as directed.

Storage Know-How

Store completely cooled muffins in airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days.
