  • Heat oven to 425ºF.
  • Cut thin slice off top of garlic, exposing tops of all cloves; place on sheet of foil. Drizzle with oil. Wrap in foil. Bake 30 to 35 min. or until garlic is very soft. Cool 5 min. Reduce oven temperature to 400ºF.
  • Squeeze garlic cloves from skin into small bowl; mash with fork. Add butter; mix well. Stir in cheese; spread onto cut sides of bread. Place, cut-sides up, on baking sheet.
  • Bake 15 to 18 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Serving Suggestion

This warm crusty bread makes a great accompaniment to your favourite pasta dish. Serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.

Plan ahead. Roast and mash 2 heads of garlic as directed. Use 1 head to prepare this delicious recipe. Then, refrigerate the remaining roasted garlic for up to 5 days before using as desired.
