  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Peel and discard thin papery outer layers from each whole garlic bulb, leaving skins of individual cloves intact. Cut 1/4-inch-thick slice off top of each bulb; discard removed slices.
  • Place garlic, cut sides up, on parchment-covered baking sheet; drizzle with dressing. If necessary, rub dressing over garlic bulbs to evenly coat tops of all cloves.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until cloves are softened. Cool completely.
  • Squeeze each bulb to remove roasted garlic pulp from cloves into small bowl.

Serving Suggestion

Mash the roasted garlic cloves, then spread onto crusty Italian bread slices. Or, stir into hot mashed potatoes or your favourite pasta sauce. Or, serve the roasted garlic cloves whole.
