As an option when serving adults, add 2 cups red wine, and reduce the cranberry juice cocktail to 3 cups and club soda to 2 cups.
Prepare as directed but do not add the club soda or fruit. Refrigerate up to 6 hours. Add club soda and fruit just before serving.
For an even fruitier punch, add 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries) with the sliced citrus fruit.
This colourful punch provides an excellent source of vitamin C, per serving.

I have never made a punch before and I loved this recipe. I had a large gathering so I doubled the recipe and it was a huge hit. Very full of flavour, not too carbonated and very refreshing. I added fresh blackberries as well as lemon slices.
