  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Combine barbecue sauce and sun-dried tomatoes; set aside. Reserve 4 of the basil leaves for later use; chop remaining basil. Mix the chopped basil, turkey, bread crumbs and 2 Tbsp. of the barbecue sauce mixture. Shape into four patties.
  • Grill 5 min. on each side or until burgers are cooked through (170°F).
  • Place patties on bottom halves of buns; cover with the sliced tomatoes, reserved basil leaves and tops of buns. Serve with the remaining barbecue sauce mixture.

Fresh ground turkey is available year-round, so you don't have to wait for outdoor grilling season to enjoy these burgers. To prepare indoors, assemble patties as directed then place on broiler pan, 6 inches (15 cm) from heat, and cook 5 to 7 min. on each side. Burgers are cooked when a digital meat thermometer inserted into the patty registers 170ºF. Ground turkey is also delicious in meatloaf!

How to Chop Fresh Herbs

To easily chop fresh leafy herbs, such as cilantro, parsley, basil, mint and sage, pick the leaves from the stems and place on a cutting board. Using a chef's knife and holding the tip end down, cut back and forth across the herbs. Be sure that your knife is sharp - a dull knife will bruise the leaves. For best results, use the herbs as soon as possible after chopping.
