  • Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  • Heat oil in cast iron skillet on barbecue grate 5 min. Add okra and yellow onions; cook and stir 1 min. Add meat; cook 10 min. or until done, stirring frequently. Stir in 1/4 cup chicken broth; simmer 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, pour remaining broth into heavy medium saucepan; place on grate next to skillet. Bring broth to boil. Stir in grits; cook 5 min. or until done, stirring occasionally. Add cheese and green onions; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until cheese is melted. Remove from barbecue.
  • Add barbecue sauce to meat mixture; cook 2 to 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently. Serve over grits.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with assorted cut-up fresh vegetables to round out the meal.
