  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat cream cheese and 3/4 cup Parmesan with mixer until blended.
  • Separate rolls into 4 rectangles; press perforations together to seal. Spread 3 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle; top with peppers and parsley. Fold 1 long side of each rectangle over filling to centre of rectangle; fold over opposite side to enclose remaining filling. Cut each into 8 squares. Place, seam-sides down, on baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
  • Bake 13 to 15 min. or until golden brown.

Substitute 1 jar (12 fl oz/340 g) roasted red peppers, drained, patted dry and chopped, for the chopped fresh red peppers.

Prepare as directed, omitting the parsley and substituting sliced fresh mushrooms or pepperoni for the peppers.

I had a few leftover phyllo sheets so used this for a filling ... oven at 400F yummy ... don't know if they keep as they were consumed so quickly

added a few items to the mix (crispy bacon, ham slices on the bottom, some chopped green peppers and green onions and 1/2 cup shredded carrots) to make it a meal. Lowered oven heat to 325 and added an extra 10-12 mins. It came out great and every one loved it.
