I used no sodium beef broth because it was in the fridge. I also added 4T of flour to thicken up the stew once it was cooked and for some extra colour, some green beans. The meat was tender and the veggies were cooked just right, not mushy.Yummy!
This recipe is very easy to make and is delicious! The only thing left were a few veggies. My 6'5" son-in-law and my son inhaled it... returning for seconds. I will definitely make this recipe again but next time I will add turnip and a bit more water.
