No one will believe that these tender shrimp, sizzled up and tossed with a savory pepper sauce and flavourful genoa salami, take just 30 minutes to get on the dinner table. Requiring little to no effort, this is the perfect recipe to impress your guests. Or, whip it up on a busy weeknight to make your family feel like they're eating in a restaurant!

  • Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 10 min. or until softened, stirring frequently. Add peppers, salami and garlic; cook and stir 7 min. or until peppers are tender.
  • Stir in pasta sauce and oregano; bring to boil, stirring frequently. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in separate large skillet on medium-high heat. Add shrimp; cook 1 to 2 min. on each side or until shrimp turn pink.
  • Remove pasta sauce mixture from heat. Add shrimp; mix lightly.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with crusty bread, and hot cooked rice, pasta or quinoa.

Special Extra

Sprinkle with chopped fresh Italian parsley before serving.

Note

If you don't have 2 large skillets, you can omit the 1 Tbsp. oil used to cook the shrimp. Instead add the thawed uncooked shrimp to the hot pasta sauce mixture in skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. or until shrimp are tender, stirring frequently.
