  • Combine first 5 ingredients. Reserve for later use.
  • Mix meat, bread crumbs, cheese, pepper and egg just until blended; shape into 16 (1-1/2-inch) meatballs.
  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add meatballs; cook 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Stir in reserved tomato juice mixture. Bring just to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 15 min. or until meatballs are done (160ºF), stirring occasionally.

Serving Suggestion

Serve over your favourite hot cooked pasta, such as spaghetti.
