  • Heat oil in small skillet on medium heat. Add ginger; cook and stir 30 sec. or until lightly browned.
  • Add next 4 ingredients; cook and stir 30 sec. Pour into small bowl.
  • Stir in sweet-and-sour sauce. Let stand at room temperature 30 min.


Can't find all the seasonings? No problem. Just omit the fennel seed and fenugreek seed and increase the cumin seed to 1/2 tsp.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with Punjabi Cheese Puffs, samosas or grilled meats.

    I served this over rice and my 8 month old went nuts for it! I tried 3 Indian recipes off of this site tonight and they all turned out really well, can't wait to try some more!!!
