This is worth trying for sure! Id perfer vanilla ice ***** next time but the apple crisp is fantastic
The dish is fantastic but the sauce, not my favorite. Vanilla ice ***** may be my go to for this. It really is worth ****** though!
Easy to put together. Dried cranberries were a nice addition. Sliced the apples a little thicker than I would for a regular apple crisp because I was afraid they would get too mushy in a crock pot. I used butter instead of margarine. Had a small issue with the vanilla sauce. It was quite yummy but after some time sitting there it got very thick. Overall, it wasn't too sweet as I thought it would be. There was an excellent balance between the tart apples and sweet sauce. Great to make for a dinner party.
