  • Combine pasta sauce, chicken broth, mushrooms, farro, thyme, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/4 cup onions in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or on HIGH 2 to 2-1/2 hours).
  • Stir in peas; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cook, covered, 30 min.
  • Sprinkle with remaining onions before serving.

Special Extra

Add 1/4 cup Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits to ingredients in slow cooker along with the peas.


If you want to instead use your oven to bake this delicious side dish, heat oven to 350°F. Combine ingredients as directed, substituting a 2-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray for the slow cooker. Bake, covered, 50 min. Stir in peas; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake additional 10 min.
