So delicious! I use this recipe all the time, I switch up the flavors of the BBQ sauce though. I stuff with some garlic coves, season with salt and pepper sear all sides then throw it in, always turns out for us!

Will not make again using these instructions. Meat was overdone and vegetables were hard and still raw. Meat goes on top next time and veggies on bottom.

Best to use about 3 lb roast and cook full 8 hours on low [or no less than 6+ hours on high.] For even more tender results, only use 1/4 cup (any BBQ or steak) sauce but add 2 TBS of soya sauce and 1TBS of brown sugar. If room, add more carrots and potatoes, but do not fill to top for best results.

Cooked it on high for 5.5 hours and let it sit tented in foil for 20 min before serving. Loved the sauce made from the bbq sauce and the onion soup mix but the roast was tough and dry. What did I do wrong?

Goes together so quickly! This was the easiest slow cooker recipe that I have ever made and probably the most delicious as well. The whole family loved it. It will only serve about 5 people. I plan to buy a large slow cooker just so I can double this recipe, it's that good!

This is a very delicious recipe. I subbed potatoes and carrots for regular sized. I used the AUTOSHIFT setting on my pot for 7 hours then changed to HIGH for last hour. Vegies are not overcooked this way.

it was very delicious - B U T - I used the recommended 2-1/2 lb. roast - this meal made 4 servings only - not the 10 servings that was stated on the recipe.

I couldn't find Bull's-Eye Bold BBQ sauce, so used a Kraft Spicy BB Sauce.... it turned out great. I love my crockpot and will definitely make this again. It was super easy to make.

I should have trimmed the fat off the roast... Very easy but just an "okay" recipe.

Delicious and easy. Our company loved it too. Top marks.

Excellent and easy; the whole family loved it. Used beef stock instead of water. NOTE: 2.5 lbs is NOT 675 g ... try more in the neighborhood of 1.25 kilograms.
