  • Place onions and garlic in slow cooker. Add broth.
  • Combine next 4 ingredients; rub onto meat. Place in slow cooker; cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 5 to 6 hours). Remove meat from slow cooker, leaving sauce in slow cooker. Remove and discard any large pieces of fat from meat. Shred meat with 2 forks.
  • Return meat to slow cooker. Stir in barbecue sauce. Cook, covered, on LOW 15 min.
