  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add meat; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until evenly browned on both sides. Transfer meat to slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Mix remaining ingredients until blended; pour over meat. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 3-1/2 to 4 hours. Remove meat from slow cooker, reserving cranberry sauce mixture in slow cooker. Cover meat; let stand 10 min.
  • Slice meat; place on platter. Serve topped with cranberry sauce mixture.


Like all meats, this flavourful pork roast needs to be cooked until done (160ºF). To test for doneness, insert instant-read thermometer into thickest part of roast any time after the suggested 3-1/2-hour cooking time. If necessary, continue to cook roast additional 30 min. or until done. For best results, follow the directions to cook this roast on the LOW setting to prevent the meat or sauce from burning.


Substitute 1 undrained can (14 fl oz/398 mL) pineapple tidbits in juice for the cranberry sauce.
