  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Brown meat with peppers and 1/2 cup onions in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add barbecue sauce, mustard and 1 cup cheese; stir. Cook 1 to 2 min. or until cheese is completely melted, stirring frequently.
  • Separate biscuits; place 8 biscuits in single layer on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. (See tip for how to use remaining biscuit dough.) Press bottom of 1/2-cup dry measuring cup into top of each biscuit to make well, being careful to not press completely through biscuit. Spoon meat mixture into wells.
  • Bake 15 min. or until biscuits are lightly browned. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, then bacon bits; bake 4 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with remaining onions.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with hot cooked mashed potatoes.

How to Use Remaining Biscuit Dough

Bake remaining 2 refrigerated biscuits as directed on package. Cool, then store in tightly covered container at room temperature. Reheat the next morning, then spread with Kraft Peanut Butter and jelly for a quick and easy treat.
