  • Score steak on both sides with shallow cross-cuts; place in shallow dish. Mix lime zest, juice and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce until blended; pour over steak. Turn to evenly coat both sides of steak. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning occasionally.
  • Heat barbecue to medium heat. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Grill steak 5 to 8 min. on each side or until done, brushing frequently with remaining barbecue sauce for the last few minutes.
  • Remove steak from barbecue; cover. Let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, grill tortillas just until warmed, turning once.
  • Cut steak across the grain into thin slices; place on tortillas. Top with remaining ingredients.

Note

The flank steak can be marinated in the refrigerator up to 24 hours before grilling as directed. Or, you can instead pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the steak in a freezer-weight resealable plastic bag and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before grilling as directed. The steak will marinate as it thaws.
