  • Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  • Mix first 7 ingredients until blended. Reserve half the ketchup mixture for later use.
  • Poke holes in large sheet of nonstick foil; top with onion slices and pepper strips. Place vegetable-topped foil sheet on barbecue grate; place steak on grate next to foil. Brush vegetables, then steak with remaining ketchup mixture.
  • Grill 10 to 12 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender and steak is medium doneness (160ºF), stirring vegetables occasionally and turning steak after 6 min.
  • Remove vegetables and steak from barbecue; cover loosely with additional foil. Let stand 5 min.
  • Cut steak across the grain into thin slices; place on bottom halves of buns. Top with vegetables and reserved ketchup mixture; cover with tops of buns.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a tossed green salad.
