  • Heat 2 Tbsp. dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 5 to 6 min. on each side or evenly browned on both sides. Transfer chicken to plate.
  • Add onions, peppers and remaining dressing to skillet; cook and stir 7 min. or until vegetables are softened. Add wine; stir to scrape browned bits from bottom of skillet. Stir in pasta sauce; bring just to boil, stirring frequently.
  • Return chicken to skillet along with any meat juices on plate. Spoon pasta sauce mixture over chicken; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. Stir in peas; cook, uncovered, 10 min. or until peas are heated through and chicken is done (165ºF), stirring sauce occasionally.

Serving Suggestion

Serve over your favourite hot cooked pasta.


This dish freezes well. Make a double batch, then cool and freeze half to serve as part of another meal.

Special Extra

Garnish with 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving.


Substitute apple juice for the wine.
