  • Mix barbecue sauce and 1 Tbsp. soy sauce until blended; pour over chicken in shallow dish. Stir to evenly coat chicken with barbecue sauce mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.
  • Heat oven to 400°F. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Thread chicken evenly onto 16 skewers; place on foil- or parchment-covered baking sheet.
  • Bake 12 min. or until chicken is done. Meanwhile, cook remaining soy sauce with all other remaining ingredients in saucepan on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or until heated through, stirring constantly.
  • Serve chicken skewers with the peanut sauce.

Special Extra

Sprinkle with sesame seed and/or sliced green onions before serving.

Note

The chicken strips can be marinated up to 24 hours before threading onto skewers and baking as directed.
