  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Crumble sausage into skillet; cook 8 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 min. Spoon onto plate.
  • Add pasta, water and pasta sauce to skillet; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Return sausage mixture to skillet; stir. Cook, uncovered, 2 to 4 min. or until pasta is cooked to desired tenderness and most the liquid is cooked off, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Add cheese; stir until melted. Sprinkle with oregano.

Substitute

Prepare using Classico Riserva Marinara Pasta Sauce.

Special Extra

Add 1 cup of your favourite chopped fresh vegetable to cooked sausage in skillet along with the mushrooms, onions and garlic.

Substitute fresh basil for the oregano.
