  • Toss avocados with lemon juice in medium bowl. Add spinach, orange sections, orange juice and dressing; toss lightly.
  • Spoon onto 2 serving plates; top with nuts.
  • Serve immediately.


Substitute passion fruit juice for the orange juice. Look for it in cans or bottles in the juice section of most larger supermarkets.


Substitute 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) mandarin orange segments, drained, for the orange sections.

Add 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds to salad with pecans.
