  • Prepare cake batter and bake in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package; cool completely. Remove cake from pan; place on platter or tray.
  • Mix Cool Whip and food colouring; spread onto cake.
  • Add decorations as shown in photo to resemble a spring garden. Keep refrigerated.

Cooking Know-How

For easy removal of cake, line the pan with foil before using. Just turn the empty pan upside down; press sheet of foil onto bottom and down sides of pan. When you turn the pan over, the molded-foil fits perfectly inside the pan. Use foil handles to lift cooled cake from pan before frosting with Cool Whip.

Prepare using a chocolate cake mix.
