Wow I loved this dish! I have tried many recipes from Kraft and this one is definitely a keeper. I loved the flavors of the squash with the apple and found the balance with the brown sugar and cinnamon was nearly perfect. I used 3 apples (a combination of Gala and Granny Smith). The perfect side dish and I will be making this again!
one batch is pretty small- not enough for 8. I doubled the batch and used one granny smith and one jordanna apple. Did not put topping on and served at Thanksgiving. If you like a sweeter dish like squash or turnip.. you will like this. Baked for 55 min and let sit for 30 min and it was delicious- the pan was empty and could have had more!
Really didn't like this. I normally don't have leftovers after a meal, but no one wanted seconds of this recipe.
