Cooled baked pastry hearts can be stored in tightly covered container at room temperature up to 3 days. Use to assemble desserts as directed. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator up to 1 hour before serving.
Place 1 oz. chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM 1 min., stirring after 30 sec. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Pour into small resalable bag; seal bag. Snip off one bottom corner of bag; twist top of bag to drizzle chocolate over dessert as desired.
Puff pastry is available in both frozen pre-rolled sheets or in frozen blocks, which must be cut in half and thawed before using.

This recipe is a Valentine's Day tradition in our house. Delicious and easy to make(although not so quick) but well worth the time.
never use frozen strawberries with syrup in this recipe, it really makes it too soggy with the jam and the cream. I only used the frozen strawberries because they weren't in season at this time. Also, i think its better to eat this right away. If your transporting this in a container, the pastry tends to slide around, making it a real mess.
overall, i might make this again, but only with real strawberries...the final product was ok, not the best however.....
