If you have extra fresh strawberries, you can use them to prepare these delicious smoothies instead of the frozen berries. Hull 4 cups fresh berries; spread into single layer on bottom of parchment-lined pan. Freeze until firm. Transfer to freezer-weight resealable plastic bag; freeze up to 3 months. Do not thaw before using as directed.
Prepare recipe as directed; freeze until firm. Scoop into dessert dishes to serve.
For a creamier smoothie, substitute milk for the juice.
