It starts with a crisp graham wafer base topped with a tender white cake, then it's poked and filled with a strawberry cheesecake batter. Fluffy COOL WHIP and fresh berries finish it off in style. This is our idea of a perfect party cake – a cinch to make, but absolutely stunning.

  • Cover bottom of 13x9-inch pan with parchment; place graham wafers in single layer on bottom of prepared pan. Prepare cake batter and bake in prepared pan as directed on package for 13x9-inch cake. Cool 5 min.
  • Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Mash 2 cups strawberries. Add to cream cheese mixture; mix well.
  • Poke deep holes in warm cake at 1-inch intervals, using handle of wooden spoon. Slowly pour cream cheese mixture over cake, allowing cream cheese mixture to seep into holes. Cool completely.
  • Refrigerate cake 4 hours or until chilled. Cut remaining strawberries into quarters. Frost cake with Cool Whip; top with quartered strawberries.

How to Help Prevent the Parchment from Moving in Baking Pan

Spray baking pan with cooking spray to help secure the parchment to bottom and sides of pan before filling with prepared batter and baking as directed.

Substitute

Substitute a mixture of fresh berries, or frozen strawberries, for the 2 cups fresh strawberries that are mashed then mixed with the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Garnish frosted cake with shaved Baker's Chocolate instead of the quartered strawberries.

Note

This refreshing dessert can be refrigerated up to 24 hours before serving. For best results, garnish with quartered strawberries just before serving.
