We've taken roast pork up a notch with STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix. This oven-roasted pork loin is stuffed with a savoury filling of stuffing, apples, cranberries and pecans - perfect for Sunday dinner or holiday gatherings.

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Add boiling water to stuffing mix in medium bowl; stir just until moistened. Cover. Let stand 5 min. Add fruit and nuts; mix lightly.
  • Unroll meat; spread with stuffing. Roll up meat, starting at one long side; tie in several places with butcher twine. Place, seam-side down, on foil-covered baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until 155°F. Remove meat from oven; cover loosely with foil. Let stand 10 min. or until medium doneness (160°F) before slicing to serve.


Substitute raisins or dried apricots for the cranberries.

Ask your butcher to butterfly the meat for you. This makes for easy stuffing and rolling up of the meat.

Apple Varieties

Look for apples that are firm and well colored with smooth, blemish-free skins. Choose the variety that best suits your needs. All-purpose apples for both eating raw and cooking uses include Cortland, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Fuji, Gravenstein, Empire, Jonagold, McIntosh, Pippin, Spy and Winesap. Best snacking apples are Gala, Golden Delicious and Red Delicious. When cooking, use Rhode Island Greening, Rome Beauty or York Imperial.
