This is one-pan cooking at its best. Our pork chop skillet with caramelized apples and onions and a layer of savoury stuffing comes together all in one pan for a fuss-free weeknight dinner.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until cooked through (160°F). Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
Add apples and onions to skillet; cook 2 min. Stir in 3/4 cup water. Bring to boil.
Stir in stuffing mix; top with the chops. Cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.
Fast and easy...tastes great! I have used this recipe on more than one occasion and the family love it.
Great recipe. So quick and easy, my whole family loves it.
Easiest recipe I've ever made and great tasting.
The pork chops took a little longer to cook so they were a bit tough and I found the apple and stuffing to be very strong tasting.
I added a bit of garlic with the onions
My family loves stuffing so this fit the bill. Moist and tender.
I found this recipe extremely satisfying. I don't usualy put apples with my pork but it was worth trying. The meat was nice a tender and the apples and stuffing were the perfect compliment.
Good to excellent source B-vitamins, good source iron, phosphorus and zinc.
