A great new idea for summer barbecuing, this fresh-tasting salmon burger recipe is a great recipe to try. The grilled salmon burgers, made with cut-up fresh salmon, lemon zest, capers and fresh dill, are served topped with watercress for easy-to-make, yet elegant, burgers.

  • Heat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  • Pulse first 4 ingredients, 3 Tbsp. dill, 2 Tbsp. dressing and 1 Tbsp. lemon zest in food processor just until blended. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  • Grill 4 to 5 min. on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork. Meanwhile, mix Miracle Whip with remaining dill, dressing and lemon zest until blended.
  • Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; cover with Miracle Whip mixture, watercress and tops of buns.

Special Extra

Add 2 minced garlic cloves to fish mixture before shaping into patties and grilling as directed.

Substitute

Substitute fresh basil for the dill.
