  • Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Toss strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar.
  • Stir baking mix, milk, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter in large bowl until mixture forms soft dough. Drop into 8 mounds, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely.
  • Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and Cool Whip.

Special Extra

For a more decadent dessert, add 6 squares chopped Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate to the shortcake dough before baking. Assemble desserts as directed, then drizzle with your favourite chocolate sauce just before serving.
