  • Spread 3 cups bread cubes onto bottom of shallow 2-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with layers of 1 cup cheese, chicken and red peppers. Cover with remaining bread cubes.
  • Whisk eggs, milk and mustard until blended; pour over ingredients in casserole dish. If necessary, use back of spoon to gently press bread cubes into egg mixture until evenly moistened. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours.
  • Heat oven to 325°F. Bake strata 45 min. or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean. Let stand 10 min. before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp mixed green salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.

Substitute

Prepare using chopped cooked turkey.
