I made this with regular rice instead of minute rice, and added a bit more water. We ate it on tortillas, and put the toppings on later. My kids, ages 7 and 6 loved it!! So did my fussy hubby!! They asked for it again, the very next night!
I make something like this about once a week. Except i add 2 packets of taco seasoning, a can of diced tomatoes (undrained), 2 cups of water and 1 cup of instant rice...we eat them on tortillas...like tacos....soooo good...my kids even take the leftovers in their lunches as tacos or dip.
This is amazing kids love it and I use it in wraps instead
