  • Heat barbecue to medium-high heat.
  • Bring jam and Heinz 57 Sauce to boil in saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
  • Reserve half the jam mixture for later use. Grill chops 5 min. on each side. Brush with half the remaining jam mixture; grill 2 to 4 min. or until chops are done (160°F), turning and brushing occasionally with remaining jam mixture.
  • Serve chops topped with reserved jam mixture.

How to Check for Doneness

Insert an instant-read thermometer horizontally into side of each chop to check for doneness, being careful to not touch the bone.


Prepare using apricot jam or orange marmalade.
