  • Combine ingredients. Refrigerate 10 min.
  • Heat large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat. Use 1/2-cup ice cream scoop to portion half the tuna mixture evenly into 4 mounds in skillet; flatten into patties with back of spatula.
  • Cook 6 min. or until golden brown on both sides, carefully turning patties after 3 min. Repeat with remaining tuna mixture.


Use a hamburger press to portion and shape the tuna mixture into 8 patties.

Special Extra

Serve with Kraft Tartar Sauce or Kraft Cocktail Sauce.

For Easier Handling in the Skillet

Combine ingredients and shape into patties as directed. Place in single layer on baking sheet. Refrigerate 1 hour before cooking as directed.

    Are these the same as your tuna fish cakes? If so why are the ingredients different? In your What's Cooking mag there is mozza-cheddar cheese, relish and shredded carrot while this one does not but it has only mozza cheese, green onion and lemon juice. The recipe in your mag is an excellent one and I always have rave comments and no leftovers when I make them in appetizer size.

    We enjoyed the patties. Turned out really well. I used 2 eggs and cut down on the water -just enough to moistened. I used a hamburger press-held together. I cooked on indoor grill.

    We all love this recipe. My 6-year old daughter, who won't eat tuna, loves it in this recipe. I usually substitute celery for green onion, and add fresh dill and garlic. An absolute winner in our house!!
