Try this yummy Greek-inspired pork burger for a twist on the ordinary. Cream cheese moistens the burgers, and also becomes a key component of the tzatziki sauce.

  • Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  • Cut cucumber crosswise in half. Cut one piece lengthwise in half; shred the flesh. (You should have about 1/2 cup shredded cucumber.) Cut remaining cucumber piece into 16 slices. Cut onion crosswise in half; cut one piece into thin slices, then finely chop remaining piece.
  • Mix cream cheese product and milk until well blended. Combine meat, chopped onions, 2 Tbsp. dill, garlic and 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture just until blended. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  • Grill 6 to 7 min. on each side or until done (160ºF), adding buns to the barbecue for the last 2 min. to toast cut sides. Meanwhile, mix remaining cream cheese mixture and dill with the shredded cucumbers, lemon zest and juice until blended.
  • Fill buns with burgers, onion slices, cucumber slices and tzatziki sauce.


Prepare using ground beef.


This easy-to-make tzatziki sauce can also be served as a delicious dip for cut-up fresh vegetables or pita wedges.

Special Extra

Top burgers in buns with tomato slices in addition to the onion slices, cucumber slices and tzatziki sauce.
