  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Stir in oats and chopped chocolate.
  • Drop 1/3 cupfuls of dough, 3 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet. Shape each into a 1/2-inch-thick heart, using floured hands.
  • Bake 14 min. or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

How To Write Messages on Cookies

Melt additional squares of Baker's Chocolate as directed on pkg. Pour into resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Snip off one corner from bottom of bag, then gently squeeze chocolate from bag to write Valentine messages on cookies.

    very easy recipe to make, i used chocolate chips instead of the bakers chocolate, & i also used cookie cutters to shape them, a small heart is best since the cookie expends as they cook, i also bought icing scribbles to write on the cookies since they come in different colours very tasty a definite make again
