  • Brown meat in large skillet; drain.
  • Add water and ketchup; mix well. Bring to boil. Stir in macaroni; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 8 to 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in Velveeta; cook and stir 3 min. or until Velveeta is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a hot cooked green vegetable, such as broccoli.

    Exceedingly bland, almost tasteless, soupy rather than creamy. I added an onion, but if I ever made it again, not likely, I'd probably use salsa rather than catchup, and add more seasonings like garlic, chili, etc!

    This was a great quick meal - i make my mac and cheese usually with velvetta so I split the large block. All I did this time was do one portion with the beef and the other without - tasted great!
