  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix dry cake mix and spices, then use to prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Beat dry pudding mixes, sugar, milk and water in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in apples; spoon evenly over batter. Place dish on rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake 1 hour 10 min. to 1 hour 15 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool slightly. (Sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.)


The baking sheet is placed under the baking dish to catch any juices that might bubble over the sides of the dish as the dessert bakes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with scoops of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
